2003 For Love
Few male artists would open up their personal lives. The break-up with my ex-girlfriend seven years ago was a harsh impact on my life. Even though it left a deep scar in my heart, I still cherish every moment that I had with her. This exhibition is to record the process of recovering from the loss of her love, and also to reflect on how the progress of technology has influenced our life. E-mails have replaced letters while images stored in the computers have substituted for the use of photographs. Pretense and untruth are what we have in the chat rooms. But in the depth of our hearts, we desire real emotions and real feelings. No matter how the technology has developed, People can always be affected only by innocence and pure memories.
